Rotary Africa Magazine shared the story of RFHA’s 2017 Rotary Family Health Days South Africa program through pictures and excerpts of personal stories experienced over the 5th annual 3-day event. The 95 health camp sites set-up across South Africa in October to deliver free comprehensive health screenings, immunizations, educational resources and referrals for follow-on care. Over 35,000 patients were offered over 130,000 free services over the 3 days.

Hundreds of Rotarians, National Department of Health officials, non-governmental organizations and community volunteers worked together to provide services to those who lack access to basic healthcare.
